Be disciples; make disciples. This is what Jesus expects of His followers. Yet, such a commission is so foreign to us. What is a disciple? How do I make a disciple? Though the world loves to mirror things that are trendy or have the appearance of success, as followers of Jesus, we are to replicate our savior and teach others to do so as well.
This one day event will offer workshops and resources for students and adults alike. Young, single, married, or retired, key issues of discipleship will be targeted so that everyone can be equipped to imitate Christ, and encourage others to do the same.
Some of the workshops to expect: "Praying Like Jesus and Leading Others to do the Same;" "Discipling Teens Through Today's Modern Challenges;" Modeling Evangelism Like Jesus;" "Being and Making Disciples in Marriage;" and so much more! Also, lunch will be provided and a panel discussion on prayer will take place during this time.
Speakers include: Ted Elmore, Shane Pruitt, Garrett Wagoner, Jared Wellman, and Tony Wolfe
**Lifeway will also be here with us providing and selling resources!
So sign up, bring your family, invite your friends, and come be equipped to replicate Jesus.
"Therefore, be imitators of God as dearly loved children. And walk in love, as the Messiah also loved us and gave Himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God." Ephesians 5:1–2 HCSB
